Storage Administrator

About the role

Decskill is seeking a Storage Administrator to manage and optimise our clients' data storage environments. You will work with a variety of NAS platforms and Windows file services, ensuring high availability, performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain NAS solutions such as NetApp, Dell Isilon and Hitachi VSP.
• Manage SMB Windows shares, DFS namespaces and Active Directory integration.
• Implement and support NFS, iSCSI and NVMe protocols for diverse workloads.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripts, Python and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot storage‑related incidents and collaborate with infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with enterprise NAS storage systems.
• Strong knowledge of Windows file services, DFS and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with NFS, iSCSI and NVMe storage protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python) and automation tools (Ansible).
