Senior Software Engineer – .NET & Azure

About the role

Expleo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in .NET and Microsoft Azure to join its remote team. The position is fully remote but requires the candidate to be based in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance REST APIs using C# and .NET 6+
• Build and operate micro‑service architectures on Azure, leveraging Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Container Apps and AKS
• Create CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, automate deployments, and ensure reliable releases
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes
• Write automated unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests and support Agile development cycles
• Collaborate with front‑end developers (Angular/React/Vue) and contribute to full‑stack solutions when needed

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Spanish for regular collaboration with Spanish‑speaking teammates
• Currently residing in Portugal and able to work remotely
