Senior Software Engineer, AI-Assisted Financial Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead AI‑assisted workflows for our fintech customers. Based in Buenos Aires and working remotely, you will act as the human‑in‑the‑loop, guiding advanced AI models to build secure, production‑ready payment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Direct AI agents as the primary workforce, breaking down complex problems and providing context.
• Validate architectural, security, and performance decisions generated by AI for payment systems.
• Own end‑to‑end customer technical onboarding, from workflow discovery to production rollout.
• Translate ambiguous customer requirements into APIs, automations, integrations, evaluations, and deployment plans.
• Review, test, debug, and harden AI‑generated code across Node.js/TypeScript, databases, auth, queues, webhooks, GCP and Cloudflare.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues such as networking, DNS, permissions, latency, and data‑flow reliability.
• Capture recurring customer insights to improve product tooling, documentation, and reusable playbooks.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical generalist with strong experience in backend development and fintech logic.
• Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to guide AI models, provide critical judgment, and ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Based in Buenos Aires and able to work remotely full‑time.
