Senior Project Manager – Americas (Late Shift)

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will join BNP Paribas' DRIVE Americas team, leading end‑to‑end projects that support Global Markets activities across the Americas. Working on a late‑shift schedule, the role combines deep functional banking expertise with strong regulatory knowledge and an understanding of the bank’s operational framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from framing to final delivery, ensuring quality standards and required sign‑offs.
• Define and implement project governance, obtain stakeholder approvals, and set decision‑making structures.
• Create and monitor detailed project plans, track critical paths, manage dependencies, and address risks.
• Coordinate solution design, secure sign‑off from clients, IT architecture, and other contributors, aligning with business objectives.
• Drive the project team, maintaining continuous communication with sponsors, front‑office, operations, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Secure resourcing by collaborating with line managers and governance bodies.
• Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience leading full‑cycle projects in the banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of front‑office to finance processing chains, capital‑markets products and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to influence, engage and develop stakeholders, negotiate conflicts, and work under pressure.
