Senior Project Management Officer (French Speaker)

About the role

The Senior Project Management Officer (PMO) will lead the Project Portfolio Management Office, ensuring that project data is collected, reported and controlled effectively. You will work closely with project managers and senior sponsors to maintain governance, track risks, issues and budgets, and promote consistent use of PM standards across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operationalise a framework for managing a portfolio of projects and programmes.
• Set up tracking, control and reporting mechanisms for risks, issues, dependencies, budgets and change control.
• Facilitate governance meetings, prepare SteerCo materials, minutes and gate‑approval documentation.
• Coordinate capacity planning, resource allocation and communicate challenges across the portfolio.
• Contribute to project initiation, RAID management and ensure methodology compliance.
• Continuously improve templates, tools and performance indicators to meet business needs.
• Coach junior team members on PM methodologies and organise learning events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in management consulting or project management.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, organisational and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
