Senior Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join Nimber’s leadership team in Lisbon. This hands‑on role will drive growth for a strategic business area, working closely with clients, teams and senior leadership to turn opportunities into results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of clients and business opportunities.
• Support the growth strategy of a strategic business area.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and partners.
• Lead commercial conversations, proposals and negotiations.
• Monitor pipeline, revenue, margins and overall business performance.
• Coordinate teams, set clear priorities and ensure accountability.
• Support consultants, managers and internal teams in their development.
• Ensure high standards of delivery quality and client satisfaction.
• Anticipate risks, solve problems and escalate when needed.
• Work closely with leadership to align business, delivery and people priorities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, communication and execution.

Required profile

• Significant experience in IT consulting, technology services, outsourcing, near‑shore or managed services.
• Strong background in account management, business development or team leadership.
• Proven ability to grow client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Good understanding of technology consulting and IT services dynamics.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing targets, margins and pipelines.
• Experience coordinating teams, consultants or delivery stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with structure and accountability.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making maturity.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
