Senior Java Developer (French required)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with at least 9 years of experience in backend application development to design, develop, and optimise robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs following modern software architecture principles.
• Analyze existing code, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimisation solutions.
• Apply development best practices, including TDD, Clean Code, design patterns, and CI/CD.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and technical stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Produce clear and structured technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and knowledge sharing when required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• French C1/C2 level, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to contribute to code reviews and provide technical guidance.
