Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, automate and operate cloud‑native platforms that support enterprise data, analytics and AI/ML workloads. The role focuses on Azure, Kubernetes and modern GitOps practices to deliver reliable, secure and observable services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Kubernetes clusters in Azure and hybrid on‑premises environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm charts.
• Establish GitOps delivery pipelines with ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Create CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Manage Istio service mesh, enforcing mTLS and zero‑trust security.
• Develop observability solutions using New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana and the Elastic Stack.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
• Support high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, capacity planning and incident response.
• Promote best practices in automation, reliability and platform engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (master’s preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure or SRE.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD or FluxCD, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Practical knowledge of Istio, mTLS, observability and DevSecOps.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Full professional fluency in English; bilingual English‑Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as healthcare, life sciences or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.
