Senior Accountant – Fund Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead end‑to‑end fund accounting and reporting for complex investment structures. You will ensure high‑quality financial outputs while collaborating closely with investment managers, auditors, and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare financial statements with disclosures and handle ad‑hoc client requests.
• Perform bookkeeping for private equity and other investment structures, ensuring timely and accurate transaction recording.
• Calculate net asset value (NAV) and produce quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual fund reporting packs in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in audit preparation and review of financial statements.
• Communicate with external stakeholders such as investment managers, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Interpret complex fund structures, manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks, and oversee the full fund reporting cycle.
• Support onboarding of new entities onto the accounting platform.
• Calculate tax and VAT obligations and prepare regulatory/client reports (e.g., BCL, CSSF).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Mathematics or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with private equity or real‑estate funds.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, LUXGAAP and/or USGAAP.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet multiple deadlines, and collaborate independently or within a team.
