Restaurant Server

About the role

We are looking for a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional service to guests at our newly‑built hotel in the Condado district. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling payments with a focus on courtesy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive, courteous service.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process payments and close checks.
• Pre‑bus tables, remove soiled dishes after each course, and maintain clean, stocked stations.
• Perform opening and closing side‑work, including stocking beverages, breaking down trays, and completing end‑of‑shift paperwork.
• Answer telephone calls following company standards.
• Upsell menu items, specials, and promotional offers.
• Follow safety procedures, including knowledge of fire extinguisher locations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel food‑and‑beverage environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a POS (point‑of‑sale) system.
