About the role

Join Marriott International as a Reservations Clerk and become the first point of contact for guests seeking to book, modify, or cancel their stays. You will work in a dynamic front‑office environment, ensuring accurate reservations and delivering exceptional service that reflects Marriott’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Document special requests, accommodate guest preferences, and input all details into the reservation system.
• Apply correct codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, and wholesale bookings.
• Escalate guest concerns following established procedures and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn reservation procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
