Python Backend Developer (AI & Legal Tech)

About the role

We are seeking a Python Backend Developer to join a project building AI‑powered solutions for the legal industry. The position is fully remote and focuses on creating robust backend services that integrate modern AI‑assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Django and FastAPI.
• Integrate message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka for asynchronous processing.
• Collaborate with AI‑focused teams to incorporate large language model capabilities into the product.
• Work autonomously within a distributed, 100% remote team.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Django and FastAPI.
• Experience using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Comfortable with AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
• Excellent written and spoken English for team and client communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
