Project Manager – Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB)

About the role

Scientific Safety Alliance is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) projects for critical life‑science environments. You will oversee complex HVAC and TAB initiatives, mentor field technicians, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead TAB projects from planning through successful completion.
• Supervise and mentor field technicians on site.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and manage expectations.
• Review technical reports and deliverables for accuracy.
• Manage budgets, scope, profitability, and timelines.
• Resolve technical challenges, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering preferred (or equivalent TAB experience).
• 5+ years of experience in TAB, HVAC, commissioning, or related fields.
• Proven project‑management experience from start to finish.
• Experience leading field teams and strong customer‑relationship skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Puerto Rico and the US.
• Preferred certifications: NEBB, AABC, TABB, PMP, PE or EIT.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or laboratory environments is a plus.
