Project Manager – Cybersecurity (French speaker)

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cybersecurity projects for major clients in banking, insurance, telecom and energy. The role requires fluency in French and English and combines strong technical knowledge with proven project‑management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate technical resources from design through implementation.
• Oversee project scope, budget and timeline, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Monitor progress, produce detailed status reports on milestones and deliverables.
• Identify and manage risks, communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
• Facilitate proactive communication within the team to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager (current or previous).
• Experience managing complex, collaborative projects with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French (B2) and English (C1).
• Alignment with corporate ethics, integrity and a strong customer focus.

Required skills

• Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Network Security.
• Knowledge of NIST framework (plus).
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISA (plus).
