Professional Services Manager

About the role

Axon’s Dedrone division is looking for a Professional Services Manager to lead end‑to‑end deployments of its smart airspace security solution across Latin America and the Caribbean. The role is remote‑based in Puerto Rico with extensive travel to customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle deployments, acting as the primary post‑sale contact.
• Plan hardware logistics, align stakeholders, provide on‑site support and enable go‑live.
• Deliver role‑based training to technical and non‑technical audiences, including public‑safety operators and IT teams.
• Guide customers in creating operational policies and integrating Dedrone with Axon Evidence, body‑worn cameras and in‑car video systems.
• Coordinate third‑party vendors for training and integration, ensuring quality and accountability.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal hardware placement and operational design.
• Develop and maintain deployment documentation, SOP templates, training plans and internal hand‑offs.
• Provide post‑deployment monitoring, escalation handling and alignment on success metrics.
• Capture customer feedback, feature requests and bugs for Product and Engineering teams.
• Participate in strategic customer meetings with Sales to validate technical solutions.
• Lead or assist proof‑of‑concepts, support RFP/RFI responses and draft/validate Statements of Work.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in customer‑facing professional services or field engineering roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical deployments and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % across LATAM, the Caribbean and Central/South America.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• AI/ML concepts applied to drone detection.
• Cloud‑based and on‑premise deployment experience.
• Integration of security hardware with video and evidence management platforms.
