Product Design Engineer (Cloud & Data Centre)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Design Engineer to support the global engineering strategy for cloud‑based products, delivering tailored design solutions that meet the specific needs of data‑centre and critical‑infrastructure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support the global engineering strategy and develop design solutions for cloud‑based environments.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams (project management, sales, R&D, engineering, manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration from concept to full‑scale manufacturing.
• Integrate innovative technologies and sustainable engineering practices into product offerings.
• Create visualisations, presentations and prototypes using cutting‑edge engineering tools.
• Develop and implement standardized engineering practices across regions.
• Report regularly to the Lead Product Design Engineer on performance, milestones and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering/design role, preferably in data‑centre, construction or critical‑infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor and Onshape.
• Knowledge of cloud‑based environments and their impact on design requirements.
• Strong English communication skills.

What we offer

• Gross annual base salary of €24 000.
• Meal allowance of €9.50 per day paid via a meal card.
