Pool & Beach Supervisor

About the role

The Pool & Beach Supervisor leads the daily operations of the pool and beach areas at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Puerto Rico, ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a luxury setting. This role combines hands‑on service with team leadership, safety oversight, and coordination of special events.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Pool & Beach department and assign duties to staff.
• Train, evaluate, motivate, coach and, when necessary, discipline team members.
• Maintain clean, well‑stocked pool and beach areas with towels, amenities and supplies.
• Assist management with labor scheduling, reporting and operational budgeting.
• Supervise guest seating, cabana arrangements and ensure smooth service flow.
• Monitor service orders, coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for prompt delivery.
• Respond to guest inquiries, special requests and resolve service challenges professionally.
• Enforce safety protocols, monitor pool rules, weather conditions and coordinate with Security and Engineering.
• Support planning and execution of special events, activations and private functions at the pool and beach.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience in Food & Beverage operations or a similar supervisory role within a recreational or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining high service standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service orientation.
