Parenteral Operator II – 3rd Shift (Multiple Openings)

About the role

AbbVie is seeking Parenteral Operator II professionals to join its 3rd‑shift manufacturing team. In this position you will operate filling and compounding equipment, perform aseptic syringe filling, and ensure equipment cleanliness and sterility in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate filling or compounding equipment to produce biologic syringes using strict aseptic techniques.
• Clean, prepare, and sterilize manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
• Conduct equipment and facility inspections, reporting any safety, environmental, or operational concerns.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for equipment and process events.
• Receive, inspect, and verify material availability for production runs.
• Document and audit batch records, correcting discrepancies in electronic or paper formats.
• Monitor critical process parameters and raise deviations promptly.
• Collect and process samples as required by the manufacturing process.
• Follow cGMP, SOPs, and EHS policies, promoting continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Science, Mechanics, Electricity, Instrumentation or a related field.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and mathematical abilities.
• Familiarity with computerized systems such as Delta V, MES, and SAP (preferred).
• Ability to follow aseptic techniques and equipment cleaning protocols.
