Parenteral Operator II – 3rd Shift

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Parenteral Operator II to work the 3rd shift in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on aseptic filling of syringes with biologic products, equipment preparation, and strict adherence to cGMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate filling or compounding equipment to fill syringes with biologic products.
• Clean, prepare, and sterilize manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
• Conduct equipment and facility inspections and report safety or environmental concerns.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for equipment and process events.
• Receive, inspect, and verify material availability for production runs.
• Document and audit electronic or paper batch records, correcting discrepancies as needed.
• Monitor critical parameters, collect samples, and raise deviations promptly.
• Follow all cGMP, SOP, and EHS policies, including proper PPE use and waste management.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Science, Mechanics, Electricity, Instrumentation or a related field.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and mechanical concepts.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Familiarity with computerized systems such as Delta V, MES, and SAP (preferred).
• Basic mechanical and mathematical abilities.
