Offensive Security Specialist – Red Team Lead

About the role

Visteon is seeking an experienced Offensive Security Specialist to lead its red‑team operations. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will proactively identify and exploit vulnerabilities across the company’s global infrastructure, applications, and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute advanced red‑team engagements that simulate sophisticated threat actors.
• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on internal and external networks, web and mobile applications, cloud platforms and endpoints.
• Develop and maintain the red‑team program, including rules of engagement, campaign planning, reporting frameworks and remediation tracking.
• Produce technical and executive‑level reports that clearly communicate risk, findings and remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Cyber Defense, architecture, engineering and GRC teams to improve detection, response and overall security posture.
• Stay current with offensive security techniques, tools, CVEs and threat‑actor TTPs, translating insights into actionable improvements.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience leading red‑team or offensive security initiatives.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, exploitability assessment and business impact prioritisation.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical audiences and senior executives.
