Mechanical Validation Engineer – eBike

About the role

Join Bosch’s eBike team in Ovar and help bring the next generation of electric bicycles to market. You will be responsible for validating the mechanical aspects of display units, remote controls and sensor modules, ensuring they meet the high reliability standards expected by Bosch and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Validate mechanics of eBike display units, remote controls and sensor modules.
• Drive product reliability testing from requirement analysis and concept testing through to mass‑production release.
• Translate product requirements into mechanical design improvements and detailed technical drawings.
• Coordinate with production plants and suppliers to secure mass‑production standards.
• Represent validation and reliability within cross‑functional project teams and support testing activities at production sites.
• Collaborate with international Bosch eBike development sites to align test specifications.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in development, testing and industrialisation of complex consumer electronics, automotive components or outdoor‑rated consumer products.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary, cross‑site teams.
