Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Join Aubay Portugal as a Mechanical Engineer providing second‑level support for MCAD applications. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless operation of Siemens NX and Teamcenter environments while automating processes to boost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert second‑level support for MCAD application operations, handling incidents and problems.
• Customize and automate MCAD tools using NX Open with .NET and C#.
• Support mechanical design, assemblies, and drawings with PMI for development departments.
• Deliver technical support for Siemens NX and Teamcenter (PDM/PLM) systems.
• Develop and optimise workflows and implement requirements for mechanical design and detailing processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, MCAD support, or design‑process optimisation.
• Proven programming expertise with NX Open.NET, and C#.
• Extensive experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter, including Teamcenter Visualization.
• Background in an IT environment supporting MCAD systems.
• Knowledge of R&D hardware and mechanical development processes.
• Fluent English and alignment with corporate ethics and teamwork values.
