Machine Learning Operations Engineer (MLOps)

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Operations Engineer to join Bosch’s Service Solutions team in Braga. In this role you will shape the MLOps platform that enables data scientists and engineers to develop, deploy and monitor machine‑learning models efficiently and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the MLOps strategy and architecture aligned with business goals and security standards.
• Design and build a self‑service MLOps platform covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment and monitoring.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Implement robust security controls for data, models and artefacts.
• Create monitoring dashboards and alerts to ensure platform reliability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, software engineers and infrastructure teams, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in MLOps, Data Engineering or DevOps.
• Strong understanding of the machine‑learning lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Required skills

• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Design and operation of CI/CD pipelines for ML models.
• Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implementation of security measures for data and model artefacts.
• Monitoring and alerting tools for platform health.
