Linux System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to manage and optimise our Linux enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance and security across critical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Linux Enterprise infrastructures in critical environments.
• Ensure availability, performance and security of Linux systems.
• Automate operational tasks and deployments using configuration and automation tools.
• Administer virtualised environments and modern containerisation platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and technical issues in production.
• Participate in technology evolution projects, capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security and Application teams on various projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux Enterprise distributions (RHEL, Oracle Linux, SLES, Debian).
• Experience with high‑availability environments and Pacemaker clustering.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and operational automation.
• Familiarity with Foreman for system provisioning.
• CPLP nationality or valid EU work permit and fluency in Portuguese.
