Legal Counsel

About the role

As a Legal Counsel you will directly contribute to shaping Quadrante’s future by providing legal advice and support to the Group’s companies, handling corporate transactions and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to the Group’s entities and support corporate transactions, including incorporations and restructurings.
• Draft, review and negotiate corporate documents, commercial agreements, NDAs, and data‑processing agreements.
• Advise on GDPR matters, draft privacy policies, and manage data‑subject requests and potential breaches.
• Monitor legislative developments, support judicial and pre‑litigation proceedings, and collaborate on anti‑corruption and compliance initiatives.
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities as required.

Required profile

• Law degree (preferably from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Universidade de Lisboa or NOVA School of Law).
• Active registration with the Portuguese Bar Association.
• 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Solid experience in corporate, commercial and contract law, with strong knowledge of privacy, data protection and compliance.
• Ability to draft and negotiate legal documentation in Portuguese and English.
