Junior IT Support Analyst

About the role

Join Crossjoin Solutions' Academy as a Junior IT Support Analyst. You will receive intensive theoretical and hands‑on training, preparing you to support real projects for a diverse portfolio of European, Latin American and North American clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Set up, configure and deploy user accounts, devices and applications for onboarding, and deactivate accounts and collect equipment for off‑boarding.
• Assist senior staff with basic network and server monitoring, log checks and infrastructure maintenance.
• Create and maintain internal guides and documentation for frequent IT problems.
• Act as first responder to security alerts, gather information and trigger escalations.
• Write and maintain simple automation scripts (e.g., Python) to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Troubleshoot and apply minor updates to internally developed tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in first‑line IT support.
• Experience with system administration, networking or IT security projects.
• Strong problem‑solving resilience, autonomy and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi.
• Virtualization concepts; fundamentals of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Security fundamentals: VPN, firewall, SIEM, monitoring.
• Scripting/automation: Python (basic), willingness to learn Terraform, Node.js/TypeScript.
• Google Cloud Platform exposure (Vertex AI, Cloud SQL, etc.).
