Java Backend Developer – Telecom Sector

About the role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our Telecom sector team. You will work on high‑performance, data‑intensive applications that support our digital transformation projects across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Optimize application performance, scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best development practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM FileNet CPE, Datacap and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with large‑scale, data‑intensive systems.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development workflows.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
