Java Application Architect

About the role

Decskill is seeking a Java Application Architect to lead the design and delivery of robust, cloud‑native solutions for its clients. You will work within a hybrid model from Lisbon, collaborating with development teams to ensure architectural excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define functional and technical solution architecture for Java‑based applications and micro‑services.
• Produce implementation‑ready technical specifications and guide the development team.
• Ensure compliance with architectural, security, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in application and micro‑services architecture.
• EU citizenship and ability to work on‑site in Lisbon two days per week.
• Strong English communication skills.
