Janitorial Cleaner

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to keep our facilities clean, safe and orderly. The role supports a positive environment for employees, clients and visitors by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies and maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Handling of cleaning chemicals safely.
• Operation of cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, etc.).
• Knowledge of safety standards and sanitation procedures.
