IT Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technical Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support for a leading organization in Carolina, Puerto Rico. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, configure operating systems and applications, and ensure smooth operation of airline and office environments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve hardware, software, profile, and password issues for end‑users.
• Configure and provision systems for new hires, gate areas, and ticket counters.
• Support deployment of new applications while maintaining compatibility with existing platforms.
• Manage configuration and support for Java, Kronos, Oracle, and airline‑specific systems.
• Oversee software licensing compliance and administer user access roles and permissions.
• Monitor and distribute office supplies such as printer toner.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, LAN/WAN, and IP phone/PBX systems.
• Utilize remote access tools to resolve issues efficiently.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of IT support experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential data and work under pressure in deadline‑driven environments.
