IT Operations Support Analyst

About the role

Evertec is looking for an IT Operations Support Analyst to join its technology team. You will be the first line of defense for the company’s critical infrastructure and high‑visibility applications, ensuring continuous operation and rapid incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and provide first‑level support for critical technology infrastructure, including network ATH, telecommunications devices, servers, and applications across Mainframe, NonStop, Windows, and Unix environments.
• Act as the initial point of contact for incidents related to infrastructure and high‑visibility applications, following standardized procedures and scripts.
• Perform advanced analysis, testing, diagnostics, and problem‑resolution to anticipate failures and prevent service interruptions.
• Execute scheduled and corrective maintenance activities, such as server updates and patch installations, adhering to performance and security standards.
• Apply predefined solutions and scripts, escalating unresolved incidents to the appropriate application or infrastructure teams.
• Document each incident accurately, maintain detailed support records, and update operational procedures when necessary.
