Inside Sales Professional – Pre‑need Cemetery Services

About the role

The Inside Sales Professional supports families by arranging at‑need cemetery services and promoting pre‑need planning. This position combines personalized client service with revenue generation for the cemetery, acting as the primary point of contact for families throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new families for at‑need and pre‑need arrangements, dedicating 1‑2 hours daily to lead generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with families, responding to inquiries promptly and empathetically.
• Present service options, explain benefits of pre‑planning, and secure referrals.
• Collaborate with funeral directors, location managers, and cemetery staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Track activity levels, maintain productivity metrics, and document client interactions.
• Attend community events and develop civic relationships to expand the network.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1‑2 years of college coursework or comparable experience.
• 1‑2 years of customer‑service or sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and occasional 12‑hour days.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state law.
