In‑Room Dining Coordinator

About the role

The In‑Room Dining Coordinator delivers exceptional food‑and‑beverage service to guests staying at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico. Working closely with the Room Service team, the coordinator ensures every guest order is taken, prepared and delivered with the brand’s signature hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Answer guest telephone calls using courteous, efficient etiquette and provide vivid descriptions of menu items.
• Monitor mobile ordering platforms, respond to guest enquiries promptly and assist with order placement.
• Enter guest orders, including special requests, into the hotel’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Verify completed kitchen orders against the original guest request and coordinate timely delivery by Room Service servers.
• Close guest checks accurately, record charges and gratuities, and ensure proper billing.
• Anticipate guest needs, gauge satisfaction, offer suggestions and address concerns urgently.
• Coordinate delivery of amenities, ensuring requests are filed, ordered and delivered promptly.
• Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Two work rules and standards of conduct.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Stock and order supplies, assist in setting tray tables for delivery.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a hotel point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
