Functional Tester (French Speaker) – Lisbon

About the role

Aubay Portugal is looking for an experienced Functional Tester who is fluent in French to join our Lisbon team. You will work on critical systems for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecom and energy, ensuring high‑quality software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for multiple projects.
• Design, develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional testing, log defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Manage test cases, execution and reporting using Jira and XRAY.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in functional testing, with a proven track record in test‑strategy definition.
• Proficiency with Jira, XRAY and good knowledge of Confluence.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and database testing.
• Fluent in French (B2 minimum) and English (B2 minimum).
• Commitment to integrity, teamwork, customer focus and task prioritisation.
