FinOps Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a FinOps Data Analyst to join our Lisbon office and help our clients optimise cloud spend across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. The role combines financial analysis with technical cloud expertise to deliver cost‑saving insights and support strategic budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cloud cost data, identify savings opportunities and drive FinOps best practices across multi‑cloud environments.
• Create dashboards, reports and financial analyses using Excel, Power BI and specialised FinOps tools.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate cloud cost forecasts and recommendations.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product, Finance and Architecture teams to embed financial accountability and sustainable cost‑optimization strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FinOps, cloud cost management or cloud financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of cloud billing and cost‑optimization for AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and cloud cost‑management tools.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• FinOps Foundation or cloud provider certifications are a plus.
