Financial Planner Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Planner Associate to join our Wealth Management team in San Juan. In this hybrid, full‑time position you will help clients develop and implement financial plans that align with their goals and circumstances.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial plans, reports, and recommendations based on client objectives and financial situations.
• Analyze financial statements, tax data, and investment portfolios for individuals and entities.
• Conduct projections for insurance, retirement, and investment strategies.
• Draft letters and reports that communicate analysis results and recommended actions.
• Support the lead Financial Planner in gathering client information and implementing recommendations.
• Attend client meetings as needed and maintain clear communication with team members.
• Assist the Wealth Management unit on strategic projects when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, financial planning, accounting or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in tax or insurance.
• Professional designations such as CFP, FPQP, CPA, JD or similar are highly recommended.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of financial‑industry regulations and excellent customer‑service skills.
• Fluent oral and written communication in English and Spanish.
