Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join Air Apps’ finance team. You will own financial reporting, internal controls and accounting operations, providing accurate and timely information that drives strategic decisions across our fast‑growing AI‑powered product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, control and report financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for all departments and product lines.
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and produce consolidated reports.
• Maintain and improve internal control systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and tax obligations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align financial reporting with business goals.
• Manage cash flow, cost control and conduct ad‑hoc financial risk assessments.
• Optimize automation of ERP and accounting tools such as Netsuite, Payhawk and Ramp.
• Analyze variances, deliver insights on performance metrics and support strategic initiatives.
• Continuously improve financial processes, systems and controls for scalability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial management.
• Background in a senior audit role or Big 4 firm, and/or experience in start‑up/scale‑up environments.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field; Chartered Accountant qualification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial statements and tax regulations.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
