Field Clinical Specialist TAVI

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Field Clinical Specialist focused on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) to support clinical investigations and education across Puerto Rico. You will act as a technical bridge between our devices, physicians, and hospital teams, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clinical education materials linked to ongoing investigations.
• Provide device, procedure, and protocol expertise throughout the study lifecycle.
• Certify centers, physicians, and staff according to Edwards Lifesciences SOPs.
• Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to deliver training on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting.
• Design and continuously improve training curricula and tools based on trial experience.
• Educate physicians and hospital personnel through one‑on‑one sessions and structured in‑service programs.
• Offer post‑procedure technical support and follow‑up to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers to drive growth strategies and upsell in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical devices or clinical settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Training experience in a clinical or technical environment is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
