Embedded AI Software Engineer (C++)

About the role

Join Bosch’s engineering team in Braga to develop next‑generation AI‑driven automotive solutions. You will work at the intersection of embedded software and machine learning, turning AI models into reliable, production‑ready code for occupant monitoring and other perception systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality C++ software for AI‑powered automotive applications.
• Integrate and optimise deep‑learning and machine‑learning models for embedded execution.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to ensure seamless model‑to‑software transition.
• Analyse and optimise the interaction between hardware (e.g., Texas Instruments, Qualcomm SoCs), embedded software and AI algorithms.
• Support deployment, validation and continuous improvement of AI models in embedded environments.

Required profile

• Strong background in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Experience working with AI/ML models and translating them into efficient C++ code.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
