EHS Coordinator

About the role

The EHS Coordinator will ensure that construction projects comply with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations. Working closely with project managers and site teams, you will implement and monitor EHS protocols throughout the project lifecycle, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑specific EHS plans in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams to address EHS concerns and drive corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training and guidance to staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders on EHS matters.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in EHS management or coordination, preferably within construction.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving.
