Document Control Professional – Guaynabo, PR

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a motivated Document Control Professional to join its Program Management Team in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. You will play a pivotal role in managing configuration and document control activities, ensuring that project information is accurate, accessible, and secure throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer configuration management for specification and change documents.
• Manage the flow of information between clients, construction teams, and contractors.
• Maintain project data, documents, and information systems in line with Good Document Practices (GDP) and project specifications.
• Develop and execute work plans for the project’s EDMS platform and auditing programs.
• Support smooth transition of data, documentation, and drawings from project to site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of document control experience.
• Experience working on engineering, architectural, or construction projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with project managers and teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and Excel.
• Experience using EDMS tools such as Prolog Manager, AutoDesk Cloud (ACC) or Engineering in the Digital Age (EIDA).
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam, and Visio.
