Director, Finance Business Partnering

About the role

Pleo is looking for a Director of Finance Business Partnering to lead its Finance Business Partnering function across product, go‑to‑market and enablement teams. You will shape strategic finance, drive resource allocation and embed modern data‑driven decision making in a fast‑growing SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic partner to C‑level executives, translating operational realities into robust financial plans.
• Connect product roadmap investments to monetisation, commercial deal structures and go‑to‑market execution.
• Lead annual budgeting, scenario modelling, resource allocation and forecasting cycles, shifting focus from retrospective reporting to forward‑looking decision support.
• Coach, mentor and develop a high‑performing Finance Business Partner team, establishing clear capability standards and a data‑driven culture.
• Apply modern BI, analytics and AI tools to streamline commercial modelling, reduce manual work and deliver faster insights.

Required profile

• Senior experience leading finance business partnering across GTM, product and enablement functions in a SaaS or scale‑up environment.
• Proven track record designing and implementing best‑in‑class finance partnering frameworks, with deep fluency in SaaS subscription economics.
• Demonstrated ability to influence C‑suite leaders, communicate complex data clearly and drive strategic decisions.
