DevOps Engineer

About the role

ADVANS Portugal is expanding its Lisbon office and seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and optimise CI/CD platforms for a range of client projects. The role is full‑time and hybrid, offering the chance to work with modern cloud and container technologies while collaborating with embedded and application development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines across diverse technical frameworks.
• Develop automation solutions to improve infrastructure performance, scalability and security.
• Support developers in using CI/CD platforms and promote best‑practice adoption.
• Monitor production workloads, conduct capacity planning and troubleshoot service issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with DevOps and DevSecOps trends and share knowledge within the team.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to their professional growth.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 2‑4 years of hands‑on Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Strong command of Docker, including image creation and optimisation.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
