Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide on‑site End User Computing (EUC) services across two locations in Puerto Rico. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of desktop devices, ensuring they are secure, up‑to‑date, and fully functional for field users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L1 on‑site support for 2‑4 years of experience, handling hardware, software, and connectivity incidents.
• Manage IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and desk‑side support services, including break‑fix for laptops and desktops.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain standard hardware and software, applying patches and hardware replacements as needed.
• Monitor security profiles, anti‑virus compliance, and ensure each device runs the correct desktop image.
• Provide VIP desk‑side support and act as the primary IT point of contact when other teams are unavailable.
• Administer printers, scanners, and mobile devices, and support MAC and tablet users when required.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of on‑site desktop support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and EUC tools.
• Ability to work on‑site in Arecibo and Vega Alta on a rotating schedule.
