About the role

Loomis is seeking an Armed Vault Custodian to join its cash management team. You will work in a secure vault environment, handling cash, coin, and check inventories for Loomis clients while ensuring strict compliance with safety and documentation procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Verify identification numbers, seals, and manifests on cash bags and shipments against accompanying receipts.
• Count, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load and unload vault carts, wagons, and platform trucks with cash bags, coin boxes, and other items.
• Organize individual load items by route and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Communicate verbally with teammates and customers by phone as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and move items averaging 50 lb repeatedly during a 6‑10 hour shift.
• Physical capability to push carts loaded with several hundred pounds, bend, squat, stand, walk, climb, turn, and reach repeatedly.
• Comfort standing on concrete floors for ~80 % of the shift.
• Strong numerical skills for counting, adding, subtracting, and balancing columns.
• Valid Puerto Rico firearms permit.

Required skills

• Manual record‑keeping and basic arithmetic.
