Cook/Chef – On‑site Culinary Position in Madison, WI

About the role

Epic is looking for a Cook/Chef to join its on‑site culinary team at the Madison, WI campus. You will be responsible for preparing scratch‑made dishes for employees and guests, contributing to a daily‑changing menu and supporting occasional catering events.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and plate daily dishes from start to finish, ensuring high quality and visual appeal.
• Develop and test new menu ideas, incorporating creative and sustainable concepts.
• Execute specialty preparations such as rolling sushi and other niche techniques.
• Support catering operations for on‑site events, adapting recipes to larger volumes.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health‑code compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow culinary professionals and manage ingredient inventory.

Required profile

• Passion for creative, scratch cooking and willingness to experiment with new ideas.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI, with provided relocation assistance.
• Comfortable with a daytime Monday‑Friday schedule (typically 7 am‑3 pm).
