Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)

About the role

You will design, deploy, and operate modern cloud platforms across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. The role focuses on building resilient, secure, and cost‑effective infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimise Azure and AWS resources, including compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure repeatable and automated provisioning.
• Configure secure networking (VNet, VPC, VPN, firewalls, NSGs) and enforce IAM and RBAC policies.
• Monitor environments with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Amazon CloudWatch, investigate incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application deployments and continuous delivery.
• Design backup, disaster‑recovery, and high‑availability solutions and participate in resilience testing.
• Analyse cloud consumption, right‑size resources, and apply auto‑scaling, reserved instances, and other cost‑optimization techniques.
• Document architecture, procedures, and standards while collaborating with security, dev, and operations teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering enterprise‑scale cloud environments on Azure and AWS.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Terraform and IaC concepts.
• Experience implementing secure networking, IAM/RBAC, and cloud governance.
• Solid background in monitoring, incident response, and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster‑recovery, and high‑availability design.
