Bilingual Helpdesk Support Engineer (Portuguese/English)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Helpdesk professional to join Aubay Portugal’s IT team. You will be the first point of contact for users, providing technical assistance in both Portuguese and English and helping keep the company’s IT environment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user requests via phone and ticketing system, delivering first‑line support.
• Perform remote troubleshooting of Windows‑based applications and hardware.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights across Active Directory and related systems.
• Rebuild and configure PCs, resolve complex issues in Windows Client and Server environments.
• Participate in IT projects throughout their lifecycle and suggest service‑improvement ideas.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Helpdesk or IT Support role.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to integrity, teamwork and customer focus.

Required skills

• Windows Client and Server operating systems.
• Active Directory account and permission management.
• Network technologies: LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Mobile operating systems: iOS and Android.
