Audit Manager – Big Four

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for a leading global professional services firm. The role involves overseeing the full audit lifecycle, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and delivering high‑quality audit reports to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise audit assignments, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory standards.
• Review and analyse financial statements for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff throughout the audit process.
• Ensure timely delivery of audit reports and maintain rigorous quality standards.
• Stay current with auditing standards and financial regulations, applying updates to practice.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored audit solutions.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks identified during audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance audit processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of audit experience, preferably as a manager within a Big Four firm.
• Proven track record in team management and project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Relevant degree or professional certification in accounting or finance.
