Assurance New Joiner – Audit Position

About the role

Join the Assurance (Audit) line of PwC Portugal, the largest business area covering Portugal, Angola, Cape Verde and Mozambique. As a new joiner you will work directly with clients across various industries, helping them understand and improve their financial reporting and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements for diverse clients.
• Analyse financial statements and assess the accuracy of reported information.
• Prepare audit documentation and support the formation of audit opinions.
• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver integrated advisory insights.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• Strong analytical, synthesis and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced English (spoken and written).
• Excellent social interaction skills, dynamism and team spirit.
• Quick learner, responsible, resilient and open to a global mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
